COVENANT DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

Eastern Heights Baptist Church as called By God to be the light of Jesus, will use godly wisdom during this difficult time in order to do our part of sharing the Gospel in the shadows of a dangerous time. We have been commanded by God to submit to our governing authorities (Romans 13:1-5). Only when they ask us to go against God’s commands do we have the right to rebel. 



As God has called us to Engage Bartlesville and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, we commit together as a local body of believers to do the following:

  • WORSHIP CORPORATELY

    We will worship together online live on Sunday mornings at 10:45.
    We will provide ways for people to interact with the message as well as respond to decisions needing to be made. We will help anyone in need of obtaining the live feed with setup and education. 

  • PRAY PRIVATELY

    We will spend time daily praying for our church, city, state, nation and world. We will pray for God to stop this pandemic and lives to be saved. We will pray for our church leadership as well as political leaders including the CDC and President Trump. 


  • DISCIPLE JOINTLY

    We will find ways to encourage each other in our growth as disciples of Christ. Our Life Group leaders will encourage their classes and we will check on each other during our time apart. Families will spend time daily studying God’s Word and praying together in order to bring peace and faith in the hearts of our spouses and children.

  • MINISTER INDIVIDUALLY

    We will all do our part to check on church members, neighbors and family and find ways we can minister in the name of Jesus. We will let deacons and/or church staff know of needs that require additional help or resources. 

  • GIVE SACRIFICIALLY

    We will continue to be faithful to give to the church as God has commanded. Our absence from being together physically will not stop us from supporting the work of our church during an important time to be the light of Christ to our community. Checks can be mailed to Eastern Heights Baptist Church 1331 Swan Dr, Bartlesville OK 74006. Electronic giving can be done using Simple Give or your banks electronic bill pay system (preferred).

Should the need arise to stop in person worship due to COVID-19, communication will be made through Facebook, our website, email for those on the e-vision list, and mail for those on physical Vision list. You can call the office at 918-333-2181 if you have questions or need to talk to the pastor.  If you leave a message on the pastor’s voicemail it will be delivered to him 24/7. 


The main office voicemail will be checked during normal office hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30, Friday’s 8:00-12:00. Please make an appointment if you need to speak to someone in person.
